OLYMPIA STUDENTS WIN THIRD PRIZE AT THE 1ST DA NANG CITY ROBOTICS INNOVATION CONTEST 2025
Date Submitted: 09/10/2025
The 1st Da Nang City Robotics Innovation Contest 2025, organized by the Da Nang Youth Union, was a citywide initiative to promote science, technology, and digital innovation among young people. The competition was part of the national effort to implement the Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on fostering breakthroughs in science, technology, and digital transformation.
Held on October 3, 2025, the contest attracted 724 teams across the city. Participants competed in two divisions: R1 for primary students and R2 for secondary students, using Robot Simulation (Robosim) software to design, program, and control virtual robots completing assigned missions on digital platforms. The contest not only encouraged innovation but also created an engaging playground for students to apply STEM knowledge in a real-world, competitive context.
Representing Olympia Middle School, four students — Duong Bao Kha, Noah Kazuya Ngo Komuro, Huynh Bao Nguyen (Grade 9), and Dinh Nguyen Hai Dang (Grade 8) — achieved remarkable results. Both Olympia teams earned Third Prize, ranked among the Top 30 out of 300 teams in the R2 Division, and became two of the 60 teams representing Da Nang City in the upcoming National Finals of the 5th National Robotics Innovation Contest 2025.

This achievement reflects Olympia’s educational theme for the school year “STEM Explorers: Building a Green Future”, affirming the school’s commitment to nurturing scientific curiosity, problem-solving, and digital competency among students.
Congratulations to our talented students and their teachers for this proud accomplishment. We look forward to seeing Olympia’s young innovators continue exploring, creating, and conquering new frontiers in science and technology in the upcoming national round!
