OLYMPIA STUDENTS ACHIEVE AWARDS AT THE ASIAN CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD (AChO) NATIONAL ROUND 2025–2026
Date Submitted: 16/12/2025
The Asian Chemistry Olympiad (AChO) is an international academic competition organized by the Olympic STEM Organizing Center (OCSO). The competition aims to foster scientific thinking and essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, logical reasoning, analytical ability, and the application of knowledge in challenging academic contexts. AChO provides students with valuable opportunities to experience high-level assessments aligned with international standards.
Participating in AChO allows students to strengthen their foundation in Chemistry while developing the ability to work under time pressure and tackle complex, multi-disciplinary questions. Beyond competition results, the preparation and participation process helps students build independent learning habits, academic discipline, and confidence when engaging in rigorous academic environments beyond the classroom.
The National Round of AChO for the 2025–2026 academic year was conducted online, with more than 1,000 students participating nationwide. According to the International Organizing Committee, the exam format was revised from 40 questions to 25 multiple-choice questions, with an increased level of difficulty. The test focused on advanced Chemistry topics, including Quantum Chemistry, Thermochemistry, Reaction Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, and Solutions. This structure required students to demonstrate strong conceptual understanding and flexible problem-solving skills.
At the AChO National Round 2025–2026, Olympia students achieved the following results:

These achievements reflect the students’ dedication, academic effort, and ability to engage with advanced Chemistry content.
Olympia School warmly congratulates the students on their achievements and sincerely thanks parents for their continuous support and encouragement throughout the preparation and competition process. The school believes that academic experiences such as AChO play an important role in nurturing scientific thinking, strengthening subject knowledge, and supporting students’ long-term academic development.
