End-of-semester I Parent–teacher Meetings School Year 2025-2026
Date Submitted: 17/01/2026
As Semester I comes to a close and Semester II officially begins, the Sakura – Olympia School System held a series of parent–teacher meetings across all school levels. More than a routine review, these meetings created meaningful moments for families and the school to reflect on students’ learning journeys and align on the best ways to support them in the next stage.
At Sakura Kindergarten, the meetings were warm and reassuring. Teachers shared with parents the children’s small yet meaningful progress—from daily routines and emotional development to communication skills and growing independence. Each child’s journey is unique, and every conversation was thoughtfully personalized, laying a strong foundation for well-rounded development in the early years.

Ume, Kiku, and Fuji classes held their parent meetings online.

For the Yuri and Himawari classes, the School Leadership Team met in person with parents to discuss class organization plans and the long-term educational pathway.
At Olympia Primary and Middle School, the one-on-one meeting format continued to be a defining feature. Parents met individually with homeroom teachers, international teachers, and subject teachers, gaining a well-rounded understanding of their child’s learning—from academic progress and skills to strengths and areas for further support. These open and honest conversations helped families and teachers understand each student more deeply and work together more effectively.

Due to the integrated curriculum and learning approach, Olympia Primary and Middle School organized one-on-one meetings between parents and teachers.

This format allowed parents to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of their child’s learning progress.
For Olympia High School, the end-of-semester meetings carried out a clear sense of direction for the journey ahead. The School Leadership Team reviewed Semester I outcomes and shared plans for Semester II, with special attention to Grade 12 students preparing for the National High School Graduation Examination. The school also listened carefully to parents’ feedback and responded promptly, reflecting a transparent, flexible approach that places students at the center.

The Olympia School Leadership Team held a general meeting with parents of High School classes.

Following this, High School parents attended class-based meetings to review Semester I outcomes and understand the learning directions for Semester II.
Sakura – Olympia sincerely appreciates the trust and partnership of parents across the system and looks forward to continuing this shared journey with understanding, confidence, and hope for the future.
