November returns with its gentle chill and tender emotions — a time for the Sakura–Olympia community to express gratitude to “the sowers of love” — the teachers who have tirelessly nurtured knowledge and compassion across generations. 

For Olympia students, the most meaningful gift to their teachers is their effort and learning achievements. This year, the month of gratitude became even more exciting with a series of academic events and intellectual playgrounds, and the The Clash of Minds competition for Primary students marked the energetic opening of this series. 

The Clash of Minds officially kicked off Olympia’s Month of Gratitude with enthusiasm and joy. 

Mathematics is not just about numbers — it is a language of thinking, a key that unlocks how we understand and solve the problems of the world. With that spirit, The Clash of Minds created a playground where young “math warriors” could challenge themselves in a journey full of excitement and laughter. The competition encouraged students to strengthen logical thinking, apply mathematics in real-life contexts, and use English confidently for communication, teamwork, and expression. 

The competition was divided into two sessions: 

- Session 1 featured teams from classes Venus, Earth, and Mars. 

- Session 2 brought together teams from Sun and Mercury classes. 

Session 1: Teams from Venus, Earth, and Mars (Grades 3–5). 

Session 2: Teams from Sun and Mercury (Grades 1–2). 

Both sessions were filled with energy as the “math warriors” advanced through the Station Challenge Round, which included six colorful and creative stations — each one a different facet of Mathematics in life. 

Kahoot Relay Race: Quick reflexes and sharp knowledge. 

Paper Cup Tower: Measurement skills, teamwork, and creativity. 

Bean Estimation: Analytical and quantitative reasoning. 

Puzzle Decode: Logic, problem-solving, and communication. 

Ring Toss Calculation: Accuracy, coordination, and speed. 

Color by Equation: A vibrant blend of Mathematics and Art. 

After the thrilling station challenges, the top teams competed in the Final Round – The Clash Quiz, where under time pressure, they had to calculate, collaborate, and make strategic decisions to reach for the gold. 

The Final Round required teams to think fast, calculate precisely, and divide tasks efficiently to solve as many questions as possible within the time limit.
