OLYMPIA WINTER FESTIVAL 2025: Winter Grows Warmer When We Create “The Bond of Love” Together

Date Submitted: 13/12/2025

In the closing days of 2025, Primary and Middle School students, parents, and teachers at Olympia gathered for a warm celebration that gently dispelled the chill of winter. The Olympia Winter Festival 2025, themed “The Bond of Love,” aimed to honor the connections between students, parents, and the school—bonds built on sharing, care, and companionship, and strengthened into a powerful sense of community. The festival not only provided a winter-themed experiential space but also offered opportunities for students to apply their learning in real-life contexts, foster creativity, develop collaboration skills, and cultivate a sense of social responsibility. Through each activity, the program conveyed a clear message: when love is shared, winter becomes warmer, and the community grows more connected than ever.

The first melodies and colors of the festive season

Before the festival day, Primary and Middle School students actively prepared products for the “Gift for Love” Bazaar. From winter decorations, handmade cards, and gift boxes to baked goods and chocolates, each product reflected careful investment and creativity from the classes. This preparation process also allowed students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge while developing skills in collaboration, communication, and work organization.

Primary School students busily prepared products for the “Gift for Love” Bazaar.

Meanwhile, Middle School students brought fragrant baked goods filled with the rich aroma of butter and milk.

Alongside booth preparations, the school performance team and classes dedicated time to rehearsing choral and Christmas performances. Rehearsals took place during lunch breaks and after school, with the goal of delivering polished and emotionally engaging performances for the opening program.

Classes actively rehearsed to present their most well-prepared performances.

Ahead of the event, final preparations were carefully completed by teachers and students. The booths were beautifully decorated, and the rehearsal session helped refine operational procedures to ensure a smooth and safe program. This stage also clearly reflected the strong sense of teamwork among SOers as the festival approached.
