Date Submitted: 28/05/2026

On May 27, 2026, Sakura Kindergarten celebrated its 2025–2026 School Year Closing Ceremony and Himawari Graduation Ceremony in a warm atmosphere filled with joy and emotions. The event was not only an opportunity for teachers, parents, and students to look back on a meaningful year of learning and experiences, but also a milestone marking the children’s growth during their early years at Sakura.

On the morning of May 27, 2026, the Sakura campus came alive with cheerful melodies as the school community gathered to celebrate the end of the school year.

The 2025–2026 school year for Sakura’s young learners was filled with memorable experiences. The journey began with a vibrant summer through the Color Festival and Sumo Tournament, followed by an exciting Opening Ceremony and a series of meaningful events throughout the year, including the Mid-Autumn Festival, Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20), Fancy Dress Day, the Winter Festival, the Spring Festival, and the Talent Show. Each activity provided children with opportunities to explore the world around them, learn to share and collaborate, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.

Looking back on the year, what makes teachers and parents most proud is not only the knowledge and skills the children gained, but also the positive changes in each child. From their first days of uncertainty, they have become more confident, more independent, more caring toward others, and more willing to embrace new experiences. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a meaningful achievement of a year filled with growth and effort.

After a year of learning and growing, many children became noticeably more confident and were able to perform on stage in front of a large audience.

During the Closing Ceremony, the School recognized and celebrated outstanding students, exemplary classes, and all Sakura students for their efforts throughout the school year. Bright smiles as children received their awards and memorable photos with teachers and families created beautiful moments to conclude the 2025–2026 school year.

The children happily received rewards in recognition of their efforts and achievements throughout the year.

Later that afternoon, Himawari students officially completed their kindergarten education and attended their Graduation Ceremony before entering Grade 1.

The Himawari Graduation Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The ceremony began with the video “Dreams for the Future,” featuring the children’s heartfelt and inspiring reflections on their dream careers and the positive impact they hope to make in the world. From dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, and chefs to caring for animals or helping their communities, each aspiration reflected the confidence, imagination, and kindness growing within these young learners.

The audience was moved to silence and then filled with laughter as they listened to the adorable Himawari students share their dreams for the future.

Wearing their graduation gowns, Himawari students proudly stepped onto the stage to receive their certificates of preschool completion. Heartfelt messages from Mrs. Phan Thi Xuan Tram, Principal of Sakura Kindergarten, together with touching reflections from teachers, parents, and students, made the ceremony even more meaningful. Flowers presented to teachers, commemorative gifts from the School, and warm embraces expressed gratitude for the loving journey shared throughout these early years.

In their graduation gowns, Himawari students confidently walked onto the stage to receive their certificates of preschool completion.

Mrs. Phan Thi Xuan Tram, Principal of the School, shared her farewell message and best wishes with the students as they prepared to begin a new stage of learning.

As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, the most valuable things the children take with them are not only cherished memories from Sakura, but also confidence, kindness, curiosity, and a love of learning. These qualities will serve as the foundation for their continued growth and future success.

We wish all our young SOers a joyful and refreshing break before returning to Sakura for an exciting summer ahead. To our Himawari graduates, may you always keep your curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and confidence as you begin your Grade 1 journey with excitement and joy.
