[Kindergarten] “PARENTS IN CLASS” 2025: A JOURNEY OF LOVE AND CONNECTION BETWEEN FAMILIES AND THE SCHOOL

[Kindergarten] “PARENTS IN CLASS” 2025: A JOURNEY OF LOVE AND CONNECTION BETWEEN FAMILIES AND THE SCHOOL

Date Submitted: 14/11/2025

As part of the 2025 Appreciation Month, Sakura Kindergarten organized the “Parents in Class” series. Continuing the tradition of love from previous years, this year’s program once again nurtured a warm bond between families and the school. Over three days, parents stepped into their children’s classrooms—not with the usual hurried pace, but with attentiveness, understanding, and wholehearted presence. There, parents became their children’s “first teachers,” discovering, playing, and witnessing their growth through every look, smile, and little action.

Each class in the “Parents in Class” journey brought its own story, its own experience, and its own emotional color.

HIMAWARI 1 CLASS: A TALK ABOUT THE PHARMACIST PROFESSION & DISCOVERING CERAMIC ART

From the early morning of November 12, the Himawari 1 children eagerly awaited the moment to learn with their parents. When seeing their parents walk into the classroom, the children ran to them with bright smiles, hugs, and excited greetings, lighting up the whole room. The session offered children the chance to play and learn beside their parents while helping parents better understand the school’s educational activities so they can collaborate with teachers in guiding and nurturing their children.

Parents observed the English activity “Ruby in a Rush,” which taught children about time and how to read the clock.

A talk about the pharmacist profession: Lavie’s mother introduced different types of medicine and helped the children understand the importance of staying healthy and using medication safely.

Discovering ceramic art: Bơ’s father introduced the steps of making ceramics, after which the children and their parents shaped clay together to create lovely handmade items.

During lunchtime, parents observed their children washing their hands, serving themselves, and eating independently. These small actions helped parents see how much their children have grown at Sakura.

To end the session, the children performed the song “Parents’ Embrace” and gave their parents warm hugs—creating emotional moments not only for families but also for the teachers.

YURI 1 CLASS: RECOGNIZING “LOVE SIGNALS”

While Himawari 1 was immersed in learning activities led by parents, the atmosphere in Yuri 1 was filled with warm, heartfelt connection games. On the same morning of November 12, Yuri 1 parents stepped into their children’s world of childhood. Every drawing and little handmade product told an honest and touching story of each child’s growth.

Parents’ eyes reflected both pride and emotion as they realized how much their children had grown—more confident, more attentive, and more cooperative in every activity. This was shown clearly in the English lesson “The Three Little Chickens and Mr. Fox,” where parents witnessed their children communicating naturally with the teacher and classmates—their bright voices echoing clearly, eyes shining with excitement. Especially through the games “Guess My Child by Their Hands,” “Guess My Child by Their Voice,” and joyful dance activities, the classroom was filled with laughter and happiness. Every “Daddy!”, “Mommy!”, and every small touch became a “love signal” helping parents instantly recognize their little ones. 🤍

The morning ended with tight hugs and heartfelt thanks. For Yuri 1, this was more than just a lesson—it was a small journey that nurtured love, understanding, and deep connection between parents and their little ones. For teachers, it was also a meaningful encouragement to continue accompanying the children, sowing joy and affection throughout their learning journey.

HIMAWARI 2 CLASS: DISCOVERING THE WORK OF DOCTORS AND PROGRAMMERS

Following the love-filled sessions of Himawari 1 and Yuri 1, November 13 marked the turn of the Himawari 2 little angels to excitedly welcome their parents into their colorful learning world. The classroom was livelier than ever as the children enjoyed learning-through-play experiences with their parents by their side.

During the English Explore session with the theme “We Eat Plants,” parents saw their children confidently communicating with the teacher and classmates, discovering the Sakura–Olympia approach to learning English.

In the role of “teachers,” Sóc’s and Gấu’s fathers guided the class to explore the world of programmers, unveiling the secrets behind favorite games and learning apps.

Anh Khôi’s mother transformed the classroom into a “mini hospital,” introducing the profession of doctors, nurses, and medical staff, along with tools used in healthcare, and guiding the children to practice using interesting medical kits.

Every smile, every question, and every hug became a treasured moment, helping children feel the love, care, and companionship always present beside them. These simple moments contribute to building a foundation for confidence, creativity, and a love for learning as they continue to grow.

YURI 2 CLASS: WHEN LOVE IS FOUND IN THE SMALLEST DETAILS

Also on the morning of November 13, Yuri 2 warmly welcomed parents to join their “Parents in Class” session. In the familiar classroom setting, parents observed firsthand how their children learn, play, communicate with friends, and practice independence each day. The children’s excitement and the parents’ wholehearted participation created a joyful, warm, and emotional morning.

Parents observed a lesson of the Yuri 2 class.

A highlight of the session was the game “Guess Who My Parent Is,” which brought many surprising and amusing moments. With just a familiar button or a tiny mosquito bite on a parent’s hand, the children instantly recognized their parents. These innocent shares revealed both the children’s keen observation and their deep emotional bond with their parents. The following interactive activities continued in a lively atmosphere, helping parents and children understand one another better and create many beautiful memories together.

The game “Guess Who My Parent Is” posed no challenge for the Yuri 2 children.

Parents observed their children’s lunchtime routine at school.

After the class session, parents observed lunchtime and were delighted to see their children eating well, showing independence, and especially enjoying their vegetables. A gentle yet meaningful morning left many treasured memories for both parents and children.

HIMAWARI 3 CLASS: BONDING THROUGH MELODIES AND FLOWERS

Closing Sakura Kindergarten’s “Parents in Class” series were the memorable mornings of Himawari 3 and Yuri 3 on November 14. In Himawari 3, parents had the opportunity to observe their children’s lessons, watch them confidently transform into little “Super Heroes,” and join them in lively games that filled the classroom with laughter. Amid the cheerful activities, parents also experienced quiet, touching moments while listening to their children’s pure voices and seeing their innocence shine through every movement.

Parents admired the children’s confidence and enthusiasm during the activities.

Lively movement games filled the classroom with laughter.

A special highlight of the morning was the beautiful flower arrangements created together by children and parents.

The most memorable activity was the flower-arranging session introduced by Mic’s mother. The flowers were not only beautifully arranged but also carried the gentle presence of parents by their children’s side. Some fathers knelt down patiently guiding their children and applauded with pride when they placed a flower on their own. Some mothers lovingly showed their children how to cut the stems diagonally so the flowers could absorb water better and stay fresh longer. Each flower became a symbol of a truly heartfelt moment of connection.

YURI 3 CLASS: WHEN PEACEFUL MOMENTS BECOME A GIFT FOR CHILDREN

Alongside Himawari 3, Yuri 3 also enjoyed a warm and fulfilling “Parents in Class” session. Parents stepped into their children’s familiar space and joined them in gentle activities—from play and movement to quiet moments of holding hands, talking, and sharing the simple happiness of childhood. Every radiant smile and sparkling gaze of the children grew even brighter with their parents’ presence. With parents beside them, children felt more confident, peaceful, and strong.

The children’s bright smiles and sparkling eyes glowed even more when their parents were present.

To end the morning, the children offered their parents small flowers—a simple yet sincere gesture of gratitude for coming, for playing, and for giving them such precious moments.

The “Parents in Class” 2025 activity series concluded with countless smiles, tight handshakes, and quiet, heartfelt moments that every family wished to hold onto. The activity not only allowed parents to better understand their child’s learning environment but also helped the school deeply appreciate the valuable companionship of families. These past days have strengthened the bond between family, school, and child—ensuring that every SOer grows up surrounded by steady, loving care.

Sakura sincerely thanks all parents for being present, for sharing, and for creating beautiful memories with your children—memories that will accompany them on their journey of growing up.
