OLYMPIA’S MARK AT TIMO 2025–2026: FROM THE QUALIFYING ROUND TO NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Date Submitted: 24/12/2025

The Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is an annual international mathematics competition that attracts students from many countries and regions. The competition aims to assess logical thinking, the ability to apply mathematical knowledge, and test-taking skills within a rigorous academic environment.

TIMO examinations focus on core mathematical areas such as Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Number Theory, with bilingual English–Vietnamese multiple-choice formats used in the national rounds. The competition is structured across several stages, including the Qualifying Round, National Round, and International Round, enabling students to progressively become familiar with global mathematics assessment standards.

From 22 National Round Qualifiers to 14 Recognized Achievements

In the TIMO 2025–2026 season, 22 Olympia primary and middle school students successfully passed the Qualifying Round to advance to the National Round. According to current plans, the TIMO 2025–2026 International Round is expected to take place in April–May 2026, bringing together top-performing students from various countries. This will be an opportunity for students to further engage in an international academic environment, broaden their experiences, and strengthen their competitive mathematical skills at a higher level.

The school extends its sincere congratulations to Olympia students who confidently participated and made their mark at TIMO 2025–2026. We also express our heartfelt thanks to parents for their trust, support, and encouragement, as well as to the teaching staff for their dedication, guidance, and motivation throughout the journey. Parents and teachers are warmly invited to continue following the next milestones of our SOers as they head toward the TIMO 2025–2026 International Round.
