IOE 2025–2026: A Steadfast Journey of Olympia Students from Self-Practice to the National Round

Date Submitted: 23/12/2025

The IOE – Internet Olympiads of English for the 2025–2026 academic year continues to provide an academic platform for Olympia students in particular and students nationwide in general to strengthen their English skills, develop quick thinking, and build competitive confidence in an online environment. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam for students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 nationwide, with a structured system of rounds progressing from the School level to the Provincial/City level and ultimately to the National level.

The IOE test content is delivered online and designed to comprehensively assess English language skills through a wide range of question types, including vocabulary, grammar, gap-filling, reading comprehension, and image-based questions. In each round, students are required to complete a large number of questions within a limited time, demanding high levels of concentration, quick reflexes, and a strong language foundation.

SCHOOL-LEVEL ROUND

Marking the beginning of the IOE 2025–2026 journey, after completing 15 self-practice rounds, Olympia students entered the School-level Round on November 27, 2025. The examination atmosphere was focused and intense as students took on the “marathon-style” challenge of answering 200 questions continuously within 30 minutes. This round was not only a test of knowledge but also a measure of each participant’s psychological resilience and endurance.
